World Health Medical Missions People to People is an International Medical Organization, created by a group of Doctors, two Pastors, one from the United States and the other from St. Emmanuel Baptist Church Oradea Romania in the year 2000. Right from its onset, World Health Medical Missions has been reaching out and providing assistance and medical help to different people across the World especially to remote towns and villages crippled with hunger and diseases, neglected Children, Orphanages, the homeless, old and the sick, most especially those suffering from starvation/malnutrition and lack of medical care. As we speak today, more than 6.2 million people of the World are sick and adversely afflicted with diseases with no care and medicines to care for them.

We at the World Heath Medical Missions, people to people are committed and dedicated to reaching out to them as much as we can. But as you all know, we can only do and accomplish so much without your passionate assistance from your generous donations, your prayers and volunteer assistance. So please help us help the People of the World

We very much welcome any form of assistance. And we thank you for supporting our cause to help the people of the World.

How Medical Missions through our Organization set a start to Changing the World

We at World Health Medical Missions – we start the change. We begin with training and educating people in the communities that we serve to find sustainable solutions to long-time problems. These problems range from hunger, poverty, lack of health resources. While many organizations can only do so much, we look for ways to provide them with "solutions" on top of relief goods such as food, money and constructing shelters. We teach them about nutrition, building a livelihood, disease prevention and maximizing the use of buildings for education and health care.

In the many communities that we've served, there is a serious problem of access to clean water. Water reservoirs are not even close to where the villages are. Storing this basic need is another problem. As a sustainable solution, World Health Medical Missions conducts projects and campaigns that teach villagers about installing deep wells near their community. We also provide them with tools and knowledge in the proper use and maintenance of their deep wells.

These sustainable solutions hope to bring enlightenment to the villages we have visited. We seek to give them the resources to improve their communities socially, economically and medically. Short-term fixes like donating relief goods will only give them what they need for a day. However, sustainable solutions will give the villages what they need for decades.

To help maintain the sustainability of our projects, we encourage the involvement of village leaders and local organizations. Together, we can pool available funds and resources to pursue projects intended for the communities. Even after our organization has turned over the on-going project to the community, World Health Medical Missions will be at ease knowing that such project will continue to give the underprivileged villages a fighting chance at survival – and possible an improved quality of life. We believe that the beneficiaries of our projects should not become accustomed to resources handed down to them, instead, we teach the people various ways to equip themselves with the skills necessary to sustain the projects we've initiated.

Around the world, World Health Medical Missions has helped several communities in dozens of countries. With a combined number of years of experience in medical missions, we hope to draw attention from local governments to help us in our cause.

We deal with several socio-economic issues including:

Hunger
Hunger is unnatural. The earth is naturally bountiful and should be able to provide for the needs of its inhabitants. However, natural resources are not evenly distributed and some basic needs remain scarce. Still, there are many solutions that have been overlooked. World Health Medical Missions revisits possible solutions in the areas of agriculture and nutrition.

Lack of Livelihood and Poverty
Would you believe that there are hundreds of thousands of people in the world who have to survive with less than a single dollar each day? Many more have little to live with and they struggle to survive. World Health Medical Missions is aware of this socio-economic issue that is why we have initiated programs that aim to lessen poverty by teaching communities creative livelihood options. We also sponsor credit and savings programs that help with financial resource management which are all aligned with family planning and population control.

Healthcare
Many people do not survive in some parts of the world due to lack of healthcare. In fact, a large percentage of such deaths would have been preventable. Through our organization's medical missions, we guide communities and village leaders in health management. We also give them access to health education by focusing on three key areas: Public Health, Family Planning and AIDS Awareness. Our many projects revolve around these three key areas and have sustainably helps various communities in disease stricken countries.

Climate Change and Environmental Concerns
We are stewards of our planet. World Health Medical Missions seeks ways to bring this message to different parts of the globe that our organization has visited. We educate people about climate change and what we can do to prevent drastic changes which could affect our health, livelihood and living conditions.

To date, we are happy to have accomplished so much through our approaches at addressing the above issues. World Health Medical Missions seeks to impact communities on a long-term basis rather than providing a band-aid solution for every long-term problem that beneficiaries have had to deal with over the years. The solutions we initiate should last longer than the actual problems have.

With the help of local community leaders and other civic/socio-economic organizations, we:

  • Strategically plan the areas that our projects will be launched (based on population affected, and opportunity to initiate our projects)
  • Coordinate with local citizens and determine causes of the problem
  • Educate local citizens in identifying factors that have affected the issue or possibly could have caused such issue(s).
  • Provide citizens with resources, skills and tools to identify the problem
  • Suggest practical solutions for identified problems
  • Develop a long-term plan to solve the problems
  • Implement the plan in collaboration with local citizens. World Health Medical Missions hopes to get them involved as much as possible. Their problems should first and foremost be predominantly handled by them.

There are still a lot left to do. World Health Medical Missions will not stop in its campaign to spread awareness about the socio-economic issues that underprivileged countries have to deal with. The survival of our fellow citizens in the world depends on us. You can do your part too! Please visit our Donation page for more information.
